  • The Golden Horse

    One of the rarest, and possibly oldest, horse breeds in the world, the Akhal-Teke is famed for the incredible metallic sheen that illuminates its coat. Also known to sometimes have amazing pale-blue eyes, they are adapted to severe climate conditions and it is the national horse of Turkmenistan.

    There’s something about seeing animals in silhouette that is truly beautiful. The stark contrast between light and dark outlines their figures and highlights the shape of their body, showing us in absolute clarity just how magnificent Mother Nature’s creations are.

    Butterflies are stunning creatures, coming in more than 18000 species. They are found throughout the world, bar Antarctica, and are admired for their range of stunning colours and wing patterns. One would hope they keep their feet clean, as this is where they have their taste receptors!

    Bioluminescence is a truly incredible wonder of the natural world, and it is estimated that 90% of deep-sea creatures possess this characteristic. The purpose is believed to be camouflage, attracting mates, or scaring off predators. I’m just happy to look at them and marvel at their beauty.
